Dosing, Done Right.
Before we meet at Psilocybin SF later this month, let me quickly introduce how I got passionate about helping people navigate the realm of psychedelics. Remember how we all developed some strange hobby or skill at the beginning of covid? I started microdosing.

Despite the situation, I had just quit my job and rented out my apartment in Amsterdam to move to Berlin. Berlin was in full lockdown, and I was looking to start my own business while staying mentally sane. The ideas of microdosing truffles myself and selling them in Germany came up simultaneously.
More and more people were talking about microdosing at the time. Sitting at home, it seemed more difficult for people to distract themselves from their lack of well-being, and exacerbated depression and anxiety. At that time, I had never tried taking psychedelics in small doses yet, so I bought a strip and started. My first dose was way too high, and after a colorful afternoon, I lowered my dose and started my first protocol. A year later, I started the company we now call Deliqs.
My first thought was to start a retreat and help people cope with their mental health challenges. But I found it hard to find therapists with the psychedelic experience. So Deliqs started out as a platform to find psychedelic guides. That concept soon transformed into an app that helps anyone to microdose responsibly.
By now it has developed into something greater than what I could have imagined. We are setting up a digital ecosystem for psychedelic care. With psychedelics becoming increasingly used in the mental health space, our goal is to ensure that this goes smoothly: by creating software that facilitates the responsible use of psychedelics.
We are now developing three products: the one we started with is Dose, a microdosing companion that allows you to track your microdosing journey. We’ll be launching it soon.
Then there is Evolve, which both helps you prepare for bigger trips and to integrate the learnings from your experience into your daily life. Thirdly, we’re building a platform for psychedelic facilitators to connect with their clients by accessing data their clients generate in the Dose and Evolve apps. This deepens the relationship between the facilitator and their client, where a facilitator can intervene when their clients most need it.
Personally, I love psychedelics. They have helped me by bringing my implicit issues – both mental and psychosomatic – further towards the surface. The moment I became more aware of what patterns were getting in my way it became much easier to take action to overcome these blockages. This works both in my personal life and my work. For me, those are inextricably linked. The better you feel, the fewer emotional/rational/spiritual obstacles get in your way and so the easier and nicer it becomes to live in the moment: where creation happens. That applies to me in everything. Love, other-worldly relationships, creating, motivating... you name it.

With their products, Deliqs helps psychedelic users to track their journey, educate themselves and gain actionable mental health insights. Deliqs is creating a platform for practitioners to manage patient journeys and get real-time access to client journey data.
