Meet the Speakers

DR MIKE DOW

  • Dr Mike Dow, a leading psychotherapist, bestselling author, and brain health expert, is globally recognized for his innovative protocols across diverse disciplines. With titles such as "America's Go-To Therapist," he trains psychedelic-assisted psychotherapists as the Chief Therapy Officer of the Non-Ordinary Therapy Company. A sought-after television host, he has cohosted shows like "Sex with Brody" and is set to cohost "Counsel Culture with Nick Cannon" in 2024. His extensive media presence includes appearances on NBC’s "Today Show" and contributions to the Huffington Post.

    Driven by early experiences, including his brother's stroke, Dr Mike's commitment to healing led him to a Presidential Scholarship at the University of Southern California and degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy. His educational journey encompasses a Psy.D. in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology. Trained in various therapeutic approaches, from Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Dr Mike bridges novel treatments like psychedelics and psychotherapy. As a certified epigenetic counselor with a functional nutrition certificate, he integrates functional medicine with psychotherapies. In addition to his bestselling books, he actively engages in charitable causes and animal advocacy. In his personal life, he shares moments with his husband Dr Chris Belfour and their rescue pup Emmett.

JAKOBIEN VAN DER WEIJDEN

  • Jakobien van der Weijden is a holistic coach, psychedelic guide and co-founder of Microdosing Institute. She's been professionally active in the psychedelic space for over twenty years in the areas of sales, communications, community, retreat production, ceremony work, coaching and education.

    In 2017 she co founded Microdosing Institute as a global education and community platform, bridging the gap between ancestral wisdom and the latest in research.

PAUL AUSTIN

  • Paul F. Austin is one of the most prominent voices in the world of psychedelics.

    As the founder of Third Wave, he has educated millions on the importance of safe and effective psychedelic experiences. A pioneer at the intersection of psychedelics, personal transformation, and professional success, his work has been featured in Forbes, Rolling Stone, and the BBC's Worklife.

  • Tiffany Hurd is a Microdosing and Plant Medicine Mentor based in San Diego who teaches the use of psychedelics within an intentional framework as a supportive and expansive offering for humanity’s healing, personal growth, and wellbeing.

    Tiffany’s expertise is teaching you how to effectively and intentionally microdose so that you can receive optimal positive outcomes. She has been guiding people through customized microdosing protocols for over six years and has a gift of combining your medicine practice with nervous system regulation resources and daily rituals that will not only support the deepening of your journey, but offer you personalized on-going integration guidance.

ADAM BRAMLAGE

  • Adam Bramlage is the Founder and CEO of Flow State Micro, a functional mushroom company and microdosing education platform.

    Bramlage works one-on-one with clients to optimize their microdosing experience. He’s helped hundreds of people, from professional athletes to people suffering from addiction and depression, achieve results through microdosing in his private practice.

ROME SHADANLOO

  • Rome Shadanloo is a psychedelic therapist specializing in CPTSD and attachment injury. She studied holistic psychology and focused on psychoneuroimmunology, working to ease chronic pain rooted in the emotional life of the mind. She helped over 100 people integrate their micro and macro doses of psilocybin, 5-MeO-DMT, and MDMA.

    Rome's practice includes the various modalities of internal family systems, reparenting work, and quantum healing. She is a certified death doula.

    Rome received a degree in holistic psychology from Lesley University and did extensive work in various roles at Proposition 36 rehab facilities that specifically serve the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated, including on-the-spot counselling for those in urgent crisis.

    She is the founder of Mycology Psychology.

VICTORIA STERKIN, PhD

  • Victoria Sterkin, PhD, is a behaviour analyst focused on therapeutic learning with individuals, couples, families and organizations. Currently, she is focused on helping people integrate their experience from macro dosing psilocybin.

    Victoria spent over a decade in the education field, teaching and conducting research as a behaviour analyst. Victoria's basis for understanding human behaviour stems from the behavioural science of learning. Still, it has since coupled with her deep interest in neurobiology, heartmath, the quantum realm and yogic traditions.

    Victoria graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a native New Yorker currently residing in Santa Cruz, CA, with a private practice and consultancy.

    Victoria is also the co-founder of Mycology Psychology.

FLORIS WOLSWIJK

  • Floris, founder of Blossom, holds an MSc in Psychology from Erasmus University. His passion for psychedelics, sparked by personal experiences and scientific exploration, drives his mission to expand their accessibility for medical and self-development purposes.

    He also offers psychedelic-assisted coaching sessions with his Fiance in the Netherlands through FLO Coaching. He hopes to play a vital part in making psychedelics more widely available and used both in medicine and for self-development.

JENNIFER CHESAK

  • Jennifer Chesak is the author of The Psilocybin Handbook for Women. She is an award-winning freelance science and medical journalist, editor, and fact-checker, and her work has appeared in several national publications, including the Washington Post.

    Chesak earned her master of science in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill. She currently teaches in the journalism and publishing programs at Belmont University, leads various workshops at the literary nonprofit The Porch, and serves as the managing editor for the literary magazine SHIFT.
